Job summary

Rocori Public School District is seeking an Assistant to the Director of Technology. The role covers deployment, implementation, and maintenance of district and building-level technology across multiple sites. You will work with hardware, software, networking, phones, copiers, AV, and other tech services.

The 12-month, full-time position requires strong IT skills, organization, and communication. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate with benefits for health, disability, life, and PTO.

• Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines.
• Ability to perform both general and specialized tasks with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Structure: This position is a full-time position.
• Demographics: Serves each site in the district as needs arise. Site locations include ROCORI High School/Middle School, District Education Facility, Cold Spring Elementary, Richmond and Rockville.
• Software: Windows, MacOS, Office, Smart Notebook, Skyward SIS, as well as portable devices such as iPads and smartphones.
• Hardware: Troubleshooting/replacing hardware components within PCs and Macs; basic troubleshooting for projectors, Smartboards, scanners, wireless and printing.
• Networking: Basic networking skills including patch cables and troubleshooting at desktop/laptop level.
