Job summary

Capital Region BOCES is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Cooperative Technology Services (CTS) to bridge district account leadership with NERIC’s cross-service support. You will oversee the largest managed IT districts’ operations and steer CTS projects, acting as the primary champion for district partnerships while empowering team members who keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, education or related field required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with computer equipment or software applications.
• At least 1 year of supervising staff and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction with NERIC staff and district teams.
• Lead technical support initiatives and oversee CTS service projects.
• Supervise staff, mentor, and evaluate for continuous improvement.
• Standardize staff training and elevate team performance with metrics.
• Oversee staffing structures to align talent with district goals.
• Build trusted partnerships with district leadership and key stakeholders.
• Manage district purchasing, PO approvals, vendor payments, and E-rate compliance.
