Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director, Research Advisory Services to work with senior academic and leadership teams, guiding strategic decisions and driving outcomes across research terrains. The role emphasizes storytelling with data, executive communication, and strategic advisory across markets.

The position requires strong collaboration with partner institutions, travel up to 40-50%, and a mix of in-person and virtual engagements, with potential remote work within the continental United

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of post-graduate professional experience; or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience working with client executives at colleges, universities, districts, or schools.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration with senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain issue expertise across research terrains and guide transformation strategy.
• Engage senior institutional leaders and advancement organizations through consulting or advisory roles.
• Diagnose problems, guide decisions, and suggest solutions via consultations, calls, and on-campus presentations.
• Deliver EAB’s point of view and advice through various channels to inform and persuade stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the research customer success team to enable scalable partner delivery and support sales in new client development.
• Produce written content and deliverables for executive audiences and share market insights.
