Job summary

EAB seeks a Director, Research Advisory Services to lead advisory engagements for higher education and K-12 clients, focusing on advancement and financial sustainability. You will guide strategy, deliver impactful insights, and mentor teams across processes and content development.

Expect 40-50% travel, ~80% time in-market, and potential remote work within the continental US. This role aligns with EAB’s mission to improve outcomes for partner institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record and 6 - 8+ years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Experience working with client executives, either at a college, university, district, or school or as a consultant or advisor.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides.
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills; ability to build relationships with and engage and challenge senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Terrain Mastery: Build and maintain issue expertise across research terrains to guide transformation and donor engagement.
• Content Delivery and Facilitation: diagnose problems, guide decisions, and deliver EAB insights via phone, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-campus presentations.
• Customer Success and Commercial Support: collaborate with the research customer success team to deliver scalable partner delivery and support sales in new partner development.
• Research Collaboration: generate original insight in assigned areas and share market insights with colleagues.
