The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) seeks a Health Services Coordinator to support its Preschool Special Education program. The role centers on coordinating health services, ensuring student safety, and addressing individualized health needs within a school-based setting.

You will partner with educators, families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams across CCIU programs to ensure access to health services and resources that enable safe participation in education.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education or similar field, required.
• 3–5 years of experience as RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant.
• Proficiency with word processing, electronic student records, email, and internet.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications; CPR/First Aid Instructor certification strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review student health information and coordinate individualized health plans and emergency procedures as needed.
• Coordinate, monitor, and document required student medical and dental information, and follow-up services.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to address chronic medical conditions and health needs.
• Support storage and administration of medications per Pennsylvania regulations and CCIU procedures.
• Respond to urgent health concerns and guide staff on interventions and emergencies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as appropriate.
