Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You will work with a Deployment Strategist to co-build solutions that go live in production from day one.

Lead end-to-end technical components, collaborate across data pipelines, platforms, and customer systems, and stay at the forefront of AI tools and models while driving measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery, with at least one production system.
• Experience delivering customer-facing projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong Python/JS/Java experience and production deployment know-how.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompts, and prompt failure analysis.
• Ability to design data models, APIs, and integrations.
• Comfort engaging with sales teams and customer architects.
• Willingness to travel ~25% to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside customer environments.
• Own end-to-end technical components from architecture to deployment.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist and Senior Engineers on deliveries.
• Develop AI agents and experiences aligned with production-scale needs.
• Create data pipelines and dashboards to monitor health and outcomes.
• Provide field insights to product teams and surface platform gaps.
