Job summary

KIPP NYC is seeking a Salesforce System Administrator to maintain and optimize our Salesforce platform across recruitment, enrollment, family engagement, and advancement. You will partner with stakeholders to implement scalable solutions and improve processes in a hybrid, NYC‑based role.

The position reports to the Director of Application Services and requires collaboration with multiple teams to ensure system integrity and a strong user experience for students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Salesforce system administration experience strongly preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience administering Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or related Salesforce products preferred.
• Knowledge of system integrations, data synchronization, automation tools, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible solutions for non‑technical users.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑service mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Salesforce platform, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.
• Manage user provisioning, permissions, profiles, licensing, page layouts, objects, fields, workflows, and system configuration.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and automated processes for decision‑making.
• Monitor platform health, data quality, user adoption, and system performance.
• Maintain system documentation and reflect evolving organizational needs in configurations.
• Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
• Gather business requirements and partner with stakeholders to implement scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Support end‑to‑end student recruitment and enrollment lifecycle, including lead management, applications, lotteries, waitlists, registration, and onboarding.
• Support integrations between Salesforce, PowerSchool, and other systems.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor enrollment progress and inform decisions.
• Support Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrated communications platforms.
• Manage audience segmentation, campaigns, and tracking.
• Support Advancement operations, donor management, gift processing, and grant management.
• Develop data visuals and dashboards for leadership and regional teams.
• Deliver training and ongoing support for Salesforce users.
