Job summary

Grand Canyon Education seeks an Account Executive to oversee the Tyler, TX territory, helping students succeed through online programs. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with potential to earn six figures after five years of successful service.

New hire training is in person at our Phoenix, AZ campus; benefits include tuition-free education for employees and family, and strong tuition support for dependents. Must reside within 30 miles of Tyler.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; no delinquent federal student loans.
• Outstanding time management skills with ability to multitask while traveling.
• Clear communication in person, written, and phone; strong listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; own time with students.
• High emotional intelligence; coach diverse students and build relationships.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel; some evenings/weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable using digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and execute event/activity plans for your territory; raise awareness of online programs in education, healthcare and business; drive inquiry generation.
• Provide counseling to prospective students, families, and partners via in-person, phone, or email; champion the GCE mission.
• Support prospective students through admissions, guiding them toward online learning success and meeting ambitious targets.
