Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills. The Education Program Manager will coach Guides, lead life-skills workshops, and drive student outcomes with data-driven leadership.

Position is full-time, on-site at multiple campuses (Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Orange County, CA; Santa Barbara, CA). Compensation reflects senior leadership in a growing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus (relocation support available).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in self-directed programs.
• Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence and continuous improvement.
