Job summary

Alpha School is seeking an experienced Education Program Manager to lead a high-performing team of Guides and operations staff. You will drive student outcomes by coaching leaders, launching life-skills programs, and maintaining uncompromising standards for excellence.

This is a full-time, on-site role across select Alpha campuses with relocation support. You'll use data to inform decisions, hire and develop teams, and champion a new model for K-12 learning that emphasizes mentorship over

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
At least 5 years in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership.
Experience leading teams of five or more and making performance-based decisions.
Experience using data to drive performance improvements.
Experience working with children aged 5–14 in educational, coaching, or developmental settings.

Responsibilities

Coach Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
Lead life-skills workshops to develop communication and leadership in students.
Motivate students to achieve ambitious learning goals in self-directed programs.
Use data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance.
Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and accountability.
