Job summary

Vertex Education is seeking a Partnership Consultant to drive new business with schools, conducting discovery, presenting solutions, negotiating and closing opportunities, and supporting accounts post‑launch. You will travel to conferences, build brand awareness, and collaborate with Vertex teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of direct sales to organizational leadership are required; nonprofit and/or charter school experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of direct sales experience to organizational leadership including C‑level staff and Boards.
• Experience with nonprofits and/or charter schools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients and develop targeted lists within the territory.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals and present Vertex Education solutions.
• Qualify needs, handle objections, and close new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to align client needs with Vertex Education services.
• Proactively manage client satisfaction and post‑sale account growth.
• Travel to conferences and events to engage prospects and gather leads.
• Maintain accurate account data in HubSpot and report on progress.
