Job summary

Los Angeles Film School is seeking an IT Specialist to provide timely tech support to students, faculty and staff. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, configure labs, deploy images, and maintain inventory using Intune and JAMF.

Applicants should have experience with Windows and macOS, AD, and basic networking, plus strong documentation and ticketing skills. This on-site role supports day-to-day operations in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows and macOS users.
• Familiarity with Active Directory (On-Premises & Azure) and basic networking.
• Ability to manage IT inventory and document procedures.

Responsibilities

• Self-assign tickets from the queue and troubleshoot them.
• Support student technology issues, including connectivity to the network.
• Support staff and faculty workstations and laptops, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Manage on-site lab workstations, including imaging and software maintenance.
• Configure workstations via Intune and JAMF and install necessary software.
• Maintain inventory of IT-related equipment deployed and on-hand.
• Report issues to the IT Manager and escalate when necessary.
• Contribute to and maintain the knowledgebase.
