Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or public administration.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time HR experience including supervision.
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations including EEO, FMLA, and I-9 processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversees HR operations including budget development and personnel administration.
• Supervises HR staff and evaluates performance.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state laws and Texas Education Code.
• Develops and updates HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Manages teacher contracts, pay scales, and certifications as applicable.
• Collaborates with Board of Trustees on recruitment of superintendent and audits.
