Job summary

The Dallastown Area School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Director of Human Resources. This is a full-time, 12-month salaried position based in the district administrative office.

The Director, HR will oversee recruitment, compensation, benefits, policy administration, and staff development while ensuring compliance with school code and applicable laws. The role reports to the COO and includes budget design for the HR department.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in human resources preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in HR Management or business-related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of school code, employment law, PDE certification regulations.
• Completion and submission of all mandated pre-employment documents.
• Board requirements and PA law compliance may dictate alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer a comprehensive human resources plan in accordance with law and board policy.
• Direct and supervise recruitment and employment processes for all staff.
• Oversee status and salary changes and prepare superintendent recommendations on personnel matters.
• Administer bargaining agreements, compensation, benefits, and personnel policies.
• Coordinate annual evaluation process and prepare salary surveys as needed.
• Serve as Title IX Coordinator and oversee HR budget.
