Job summary

Voice 21 is a national oracy education charity hiring a Senior Business Development Lead on a maternity cover basis. The role focuses on leading conversations with schools and trusts to secure memberships, using MEDDPICC and HubSpot to drive an ambitious growth plan.

The position is remote in the UK with travel as needed. You will manage a portfolio of opportunities, build regional relationships, and work with Marketing to sharpen campaigns.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in consultative or relationship-led sales, ideally in education.
• Experience talking with headteachers and trust leaders, and understanding school pressures.
• Familiar with MEDDPICC and HubSpot CRM for pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Close Sales Qualified Leads and Opportunities into customer schools through online meetings with school, trust and sector leaders.
• Manage a portfolio of schools and trusts from first conversation through to signed membership contract.
• Qualify and progress opportunities using the MEDDPICC framework, keeping deal records accurate in HubSpot.
