Job summary

Cape Elizabeth School Department is seeking a Data Facilitator to ensure data integrity and to act as the district's principal data analyst, manager, and report writer. You will make data accessible to support teaching and learning across Cape Elizabeth schools.

This role involves supporting the SIS and other district data systems, training staff, and developing data standards, with 260-day annual terms and data-driven evaluation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent.
• Understanding of SIS data management in education.
• Valid State of Maine CHRC approval.
• Experience with SIS (PowerSchool preferred) and relational databases.
• Ability to communicate well, work independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Support SIS and district data systems (library, lunch, etc.).
• Serve as SIS administrator for the district.
• Train teachers in SIS usage for grading and portals.
• Identify and resolve data issues across district systems.
• Assist with scheduling, enrollment, attendance in SIS.
• Develop data standards, procedures, and training.
• Document data systems, standards and procedures.
• Import assessment data into district SIS.
• Design pages to improve SIS functionality.
• Ensure data integrity and data quality.
• Produce data reports for administration and staff.
• Assist with federal/state reporting and external exports.
• Support RTI data gathering for Student Support Teams.
• Assist web-based data collection projects for staff.
• Perform other duties to support Cape Elizabeth schools.
