Job summary

Lenovo seeks an Infrastructure Solution Consultant to drive field sales of Data Center solutions for Education customers in New England. You will partner with customers, sales teams, and partners to design, position, and deliver tailored Data Center solutions addressing complex business challenges.

This highly customer-facing role requires strong technical knowledge, solution selling skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships from technical practitioners to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven success leading and winning complex server, storage, and/or networking solutions in Data Center environments.
• 8+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders from technical teams to C-suite executives.
• Independently identify, develop, and close new opportunities for Education customers within the territory.
• Achieve revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo while driving growth across multiple product sets.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and solution content to a broad customer audience.
• Design and position Data Center solutions that align Lenovo products, services, and partner technologies to customer requirements.
• Coordinate the completion of technical aspects of RFPs, RFIs and proposals.
• Lead configurations, demonstrations, and interoperability discussions to meet customer requirements.
• Travel regionally up to 40% (approx. 2 days per week or one week per every 3 weeks).
