Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Education Cloud Architect to advise education clients on digital transformation, cloud adoption, and Salesforce value propositions. You will blend business acumen with deep technical architecture, supporting sales teams and delivering scalable solutions across education institutions in the US.

You will partner with executives, craft architectures, and contribute to RFPs while championing AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce solutions and the Salesforce Platform.
• B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in enterprise software implementation, system integration or enterprise architecture disciplines.
• Good understanding of cloud-based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tier infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security processes and issues in multi-tier cloud or hybrid apps.
• Familiar with EA topics such as SOA, EAI, ETL, BPM, BI/BA.
• Awareness of AI technologies such as generative AI, predictive AI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives and solution engineers to advance opportunities through discovery workshops and architecture presentations; ~25% travel.
• Define customer-driven architectures using Salesforce technologies and EA frameworks.
• Apply IT expertise to lead business and technical transformation discussions.
• Contribute to RFP responses and technical requirement documents.
• Deliver best practices and reference architectures at events; collaborate with product and industry groups.
• Stay current with required product, sales, and procedural training and certifications.
• Lead technical due diligence and risk management for customer engagements.
• Meet quarterly and annual performance objectives.
