Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a SEDM Field Service Technician in Concord, NC. This 100% travel position will diagnose and repair Mitsubishi Machining products on-site at customer facilities, with occasional international travel.

Responsibilities include reading mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics, performing electrical/mechanical repairs, and communicating effectively with customers. A 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-year Electronic or Technical Degree or experience equivalent.
• Electrical measurement and inspection techniques (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope).
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze problems.
• Document in detail product problems and resolutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
