Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and test complex Mitsubishi Machining products at customer sites across the US. Expect 100% travel, primarily domestic with possible international assignments.

Strong communication and drawing-reading skills are essential. The role requires a 2-year electronic/technical degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with electrical measurement tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 2 year Electronic or Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong electrical measurement and inspection techniques using voltmeter, oscilloscope and related tools.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair.
• Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs by dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
• Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone when required.
• Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot issues.
• Document product problems and resolutions in detail.
