Job summary

NucoreVision seeks a meticulous Authored Works Review Editor to guard voice, credibility, and accuracy across all public-facing materials in Bethesda, MD. You will manage end-to-end editorial lifecycle, calendar, and multi-author publications.

The role requires expert command of English, AP style, and experience with medical, military, or public policy content, plus rigorous HIPAA/PHI safeguards and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• 5+ years editing, copyediting, or technical writing experience, preferably with medical/public policy/military content.
• Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and AP Style.
• Experience in healthcare communications or military/public affairs in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI safeguards and secure information handling.
• Experience managing editorial calendars and multi-author publications.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong source verification ethics.

Responsibilities

• Editorial Project Management: manage end-to-end lifecycle for public-facing materials, editorial calendar, and multi-stage review.
• Quality & Compliance Assurance: edit for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and AP style compliance.
• Fact-Checking & Research Verification: verify claims with SMEs across clinical/administrative departments.
• Stakeholder Coordination: coordinate feedback between authors, SMEs, legal counsel, and leadership.
• Style Guide Management: develop and enforce the organizational style guide for consistent voice.
• Reporting & Approvals: present final documents to senior Public Affairs Officer for approval.
