• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional editing, copyediting, or technical writing experience.
• Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and AP style.
• Experience in healthcare communications or military/public affairs.
• Understanding of HIPAA and PHI safeguarding.
• Experience managing an editorial calendar and multi-author publications.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end editorial lifecycle for public-facing materials.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive editorial calendar; track review stages and deadlines.
• Edit for clarity, accuracy, grammar; ensure AP style and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct fact-checking and source verification with SMEs across clinical and administrative departments.
• Coordinate feedback between authors, SMEs, legal counsel, and public affairs leadership.
• Lead development, maintenance, and enforcement of an organizational style guide.
• Oversee final clearance and approvals prior to public release.
