Job summary

CGS Federal in Chicago, IL, with remote/hybrid options and Detroit, MI, seeks an eDiscovery Technical Advisor to support civil and criminal matters, requiring Top Secret clearance. This full-time role centers on managing and producing ESI using advanced eDiscovery tools.

You will work with attorneys, paralegals, and IT staff to plan, collect, process, and deliver data per FBI/agency workflows, ensuring meticulous accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.
• 3+ years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team players.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment.
• Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil and criminal matters.
• Support criminal discovery and FOIA requests with ESI.
• Use eDiscovery tools to manage cases and production (LHMT, Enterprise Vault, Veritas).
• Develop discovery plans with search parameters.
• Collect data from FBI IT systems per the plan.
• Analyze search results for data gaps.
• Manage data inputs into an eDiscovery review platform (case creation, data logs, de-duplication).
• Coordinate collection results with FBI processing units.
• Provide training and technical assistance on eDiscovery tools.
• Document discovery plans and procedures.
• Support eDiscovery holds and production on criminal cases.
