  • Review and refine the work product of junior investigators, including chronologies, evidence logs, summaries, and case documentation.
  • Apply quality assurance standards and provide coaching and feedback to junior team members.
  • Identify complex issues, legal concerns, policy interpretation questions, credibility issues, or high-risk matters requiring escalation.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation within customer-approved case management systems.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and service level expectations within a high-volume investigations environment.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, process enhancements, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the team.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in workplace investigations, employee relations, HR case management, compliance investigations, legal operations, paralegal services, employment litigation support, or related fact-finding functions required.
  • Experience managing investigations, reviewing evidence, conducting interviews, or preparing investigation-related documentation.
  • Experience working in structured environments with defined quality standards, escalation procedures, and service level requirements.
  • Prior experience reviewing, coaching, or mentoring junior team members is preferred.
Skills for Success

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, concise, and objective investigative documentation.
  • Strong interviewing, note-taking, and evidence organization capabilities.
  • Sound judgment regarding risk identification, issue escalation, and policy application.
  • Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on the work of junior investigators.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality standards.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and case management or workflow tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Degrees in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Science, Psychology, or related disciplines are preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications, paralegal certification, HR certifications, or investigation-related training are considered a plus.
