Job summary

BD is seeking an EDI Operations Specialist to review incoming electronic orders and correct them to enable smooth order flow within the order management process. Reporting to the Supervisor, EDI Operations, you will ensure accuracy, engage with customers professionally, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced medical technology environment.

On-site collaboration is emphasized, typically requiring four days in the office to support a culture of excellence and effective problem

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
• Experience with SAP ECC/S4HANA and Microsoft Office proficiency
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Create requests in databases to support customer orders such as new customer account setup and pricing
• Identify and coordinate resolution of issues affecting customer satisfaction
• Review orders for accuracy and completeness and correct as needed
• Meet or exceed order accuracy and turnaround time standards
• Handle all customer contacts professionally and courteously
• Compose accurate, prompt replies to customer contacts
• Handle complaints according to FDA regulations governing medical devices
• Participate in projects and team meetings
• Provide support to team members as needed
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide feedback for process improvement
