Job summary

Bunzl Safety Division is seeking an EDI Coordinator to manage and optimize Electronic Data Interchange across the organization. This on-site role in Cerritos, CA focuses on ensuring accurate, reliable data exchange with trading partners and service providers.

Responsibilities include end-to-end EDI operations, partner onboarding, and system enhancements. Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 3 years of EDI experience or 5 years of related IT/operations experience.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards: 850, 855, 856, 810, and 846 documents.
• Experience with EDI platforms, translation software, and trading partner integrations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage X3 or SAP.
• Experience with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end EDI operations, including transaction processing and trading partner integrations.
• Monitor EDI flow and data accuracy to ensure reliable processing.
• Maintain EDI maps and configurations to support requirements.
• Troubleshoot EDI communication, mapping, and data transmission issues.
• Lead onboarding and testing of new trading partners and EDI transactions.
• Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes.
• Support testing, deployment, and validation of system enhancements.
• Document processes, flows, and system specs for reference.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing EDI process support.
• Evaluate technology options to enhance EDI capabilities and scalability.
