Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is building edge compute solutions for industrial automation in its global fulfillment network. The role involves ownership of software development end-to-end, from scoping and design to testing and delivery, across low-level machine controls up to cloud-based solutions for fleets of devices in fulfillment centers.

You will collaborate with internal R&D and design teams, work on integration with diverse hardware/software services, and contribute to CI/CD and field

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• 3+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with a diverse array of internally and externally developed hardware and software services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate solutions via software-in-the-loop simulation.
• Work closely with deployment teams to implement end-to-end solutions in the field.
• Develop infrastructure to support development, operations, and maintenance of low level and cloud software for warehouse automation systems.
