Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop cloud and edge software for robotic systems. You will work on Linux kernel drivers and edge computing solutions enabling seamless hardware operation across a distributed architecture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing multi-threaded or distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Linux Kernel device drivers for communication with Amazon robotics hardware.
• Design and implement edge computing components with low latency.
• Build and optimize Yocto-based builds for NVIDIA platforms.
• Collaborate with workcell teams and internal customers to integrate software with hardware.
• Establish hardware-in-the-loop testing frameworks to validate performance and reliability.
