CVS Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer - Akamai & Edge Security Services to design, implement and optimize security controls protecting enterprise web applications, APIs, and internet-facing services. You will partner with application, cloud, infrastructure, network, and security teams to strengthen the digital perimeter and respond to threats.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise web application, API, or edge security.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Akamai security technologies or comparable enterprise WAF.
• 3+ years experience with WAF, bot management, DDoS mitigation, Web/API security, HTTP/HTTPS and TCP/IP, DNS/traffic management, SSL/TLS and certificate management, OWASP Top 10, Linux-based environments.
• 2+ years analyzing security telemetry, identify attack patterns, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement countermeasures.

Responsabilités

• Administer and optimize Akamai security technologies (WAF, Bot Manager Premier, Adaptive Security Engine, Client Reputation, Account Protector, DDoS protections).
• Design and maintain security controls for web apps, APIs, and internet-facing services.
• Tune WAF protections, rate limiting, IP/geographic controls, ACLs, API protections, and custom rules.
• Investigate and mitigate DDoS, credential stuffing, account takeover, scraping, and other threats.
• Monitor security telemetry and incidents; provide escalation support and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard apps and integrate security into CI/CD.
