Job summary

CVS Health Senior Security Engineer - Akamai & Edge Security Services designs, implements, administers, and optimizes security controls protecting enterprise web applications, APIs, and internet-facing services. This role partners with application, cloud, infrastructure, network, and security teams to strengthen the enterprise digital perimeter and continuously improve security controls.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in enterprise web application, API, or edge security.
3+ years hands-on with Akamai security technologies or comparable enterprise WAF and security platforms.
3+ years knowledge: WAF, Bot management and DDoS mitigation, Web/API security, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, and Linux-based environments.
2+ years experience analyzing security telemetry and incident response.

Responsibilities

Administer Akamai security technologies (WAF, Bot Manager Premier, DDoS protections) and related services.
Administer Imperva Website Security capabilities and origin integrations.
Design and maintain security controls for web apps, APIs, and internet-facing services.
Monitor security telemetry and investigate incidents; provide escalation support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD security integration.
