Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize edge security for enterprise web applications, APIs, and internet-facing services.

You will administer Akamai and Imperva security tooling, tune WAF rules, manage bot protection, monitor security telemetry, and support incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve CI/CD security integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise web application, API, or edge security.
• 3+ years hands-on with Akamai security technologies or comparable enterprise WAF platforms.
• 3+ years knowledge: WAF, Bot management, DDoS mitigation, Web/API security, DNS/traffic mgmt, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, Linux.
• 2+ years analyzing security telemetry, threat patterns, and incident countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Akamai and Imperva security services for web apps and APIs.
• Configure WAF protections, bot management, DDoS mitigation, and API security.
• Monitor security telemetry; investigate incidents; perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD and delivery processes.
