CVS Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize edge security controls for enterprise web apps, APIs, and internet-facing services. You will manage Akamai and Imperva security tools, contribute to threat mitigation, and drive secure delivery across digital platforms.

You will collaborate with application, cloud, network, and security teams, participate in on-call rotations, and support security automation and CI/CD integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise web application, API, or edge security.
• 3+ years hands-on with Akamai security technologies or comparable platforms.
• 3+ years knowledge of WAF, Bot management, DDoS, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10.
• 2+ years analyzing security telemetry and responding to incidents.

Responsabilités

• Administer and optimize Akamai security technologies including WAF and bot protections.
• Configure rate limiting, IP/geographic controls, API protections and custom rules.
• Monitor security telemetry, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD.
