Job summary

Sonrava Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide outstanding chair-side support and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced dental practice. You will assist doctors with procedures, take and mount radiographs, and help educate patients while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards.

The role requires the ability to multitask, strong customer service, and teamwork, with certifications in radiography and CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner and keep patient as the top priority.
• Be present and prepared for all assigned shifts.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with dental procedures and anticipate their needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts, document health history, and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per procedures.
• Support scheduling and track lab cases to ensure timely products.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow safety policies.
