Job summary

Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant to place the patient first, assist doctors and hygienists, and manage radiographs and chair-side procedures in a fast-paced practice. The role emphasizes accurate data recording, safety, and a strong patient experience.

Responsibilities include preparing the operatory, maintaining sterilization, supporting scheduling, and promoting practice services while maintaining HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current certification in CPR preferred.
• Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Support patient flow and schedule maintenance.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Staff collaboration to ensure excellent patient service.
