Job summary

Sonrava is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to provide exceptional chair-side support and patient care. You will assist doctors and hygienists, take radiographs, and help maintain accurate patient records while ensuring a positive patient experience.

The role requires radiography certification and a state-required dental assistant credential, with CPR and other safety trainings preferred. The position emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and continuous learning in a fast-paced dental practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient.
• Take direction from doctor/hygienist and assist with dental procedures.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts, log health history, and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatories per procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Work as a team to deliver an extraordinary patient experience.
• Monitor supplies and order using approved formulary.
