The role requires radiography certification and a state-acceptable Dental Assistant credential, with CPR and BBP awareness. You will collaborate with clinicians and front-office staff to ensure top-tier patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Current Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training must be up to date.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side support, prioritizing the patient.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shifts.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review charts and log health history during exams and treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment per procedures before patient appointments.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow with efficient procedures.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Support front office with scheduling and lab case tracking.
• Order dental supplies using approved formulary as needed.
• Promote Sonrava services and retail products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and OSHA BBP rules.
• Complete LMS requirements.
