Sonrava Health is seeking a Dental Assistant focused on delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the doctor with precise chair-side assistance. You will take and process radiographs, manage patient charts, and help maintain a smooth daily schedule in a patient-centric practice.

The role requires radiography certification, a relevant dental assistance credential, and a commitment to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia certification preferred.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a chair-side manner, prioritizing the patient experience.
• Be present and ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Assist doctors and hygienists with procedures and anticipate needs.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs of high quality.
• Review patient charts, log health history, and transcribe notes.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per policy.
• Maintain schedule and smooth patient flow.
• Educate patients and address questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with doctors, hygienists and staff to ensure quality service.
• Assist front office with scheduling follow-ups and lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as needed using formulary.
• Promote Sonrava services and product offerings.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
