Job summary

Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant dedicated to patient care, working in a state-of-the-art practice. You will support the doctor with procedures, take radiographs, and ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, radiography certification, and state-required certifications; CPR and Nitrous Oxide certification are a plus. You will maintain HIPAA compliance and contribute to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, making the patient the #1 priority.
• Take direction from the doctor or hygienist and assist with dental procedures.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts, log health history, and transcribe notes.
• Prepare and sterilize equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Help maintain schedule and patient flow.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Follow safety policies and BBP regulations.
• Complete Learning Management System requirements.
