Sonrava is seeking a Dental Assistant who prioritizes patient care and delivers precise support to the dentist while maintaining a friendly, professional chair-side manner. You will be integral to patient experience and retention, handling radiographs, chart reviews, and sterilization with strict adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires high school diploma, radiography certification, and state-specific dental assistant certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current radiography certification required.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state, or ability to become certified.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia certification preferred.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with chair-side manner, making patient priority.
• Be present, engaged and ready to work at all shift times.
• Assist doctor and hygienists with dental procedures as directed.
• Take, develop and mount radiographs.
• Review patient charts and document health history.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per guidelines.
• Help maintain schedule and patient flow.
• Educate patients and address questions/concerns.
• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver excellent patient experience.
• Coordinate with staff to schedule follow-ups and track lab cases.
• Monitor dental supplies and order as needed.
• Promote Sonrava services and products.
• Complete checklists and participate in daily huddles.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow OSHA and BBP regulations.
• Complete Learning Management System requirements.
