Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking an experienced ED Registered Nurse for the W.E.S.T. Float Team. You will travel between Wellstar facilities, providing expert, compassionate care in fast-paced ED settings and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience and an active GA (or Compact) RN license are required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS at minimum and TNCC/ATCN preferred. This role offers dynamic shifts and engagement across a broad network.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2+ years of direct ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care including assessment, triage, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond quickly to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Document accurately and in a timely manner per Wellstar standards.
