Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of the Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a part-time role with a $7,500 sign-on bonus. The role requires 2 years of ED experience and active RN license, plus BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, triage, assessments, pain management and coordination with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• 2 years ED experience required
• Current RN license in state of practice
• Current BCLS Certification
• ACLS Certification within six months of hire
• PALS within six months of hire
• ENPC and TNCC optional

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and evaluates outcomes.
• Head-to-toe assessments across patient populations.
• Assess and reassess pain and educate on pain management.
• Use triage to ensure timely and appropriate care.
