Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Billing, Customer Service, or Patient Registration preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Obtains or validates patient information and registers patients into the system with high customer service.
• Ensures all demographic and financial data are obtained and documented.
• Maintains patient safety and confidentiality of PHI.
• Works daily reports and account work queues to ensure data integrity.
• Handles patient inquiries related to registration.
• Calculates payment information and processes Time of Service collections.
• Ensures EMTALA rules are followed when registering patients in ED and OB.
• Completes forms and collects documents as needed for registration.
