• Customer service skills to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Register emergency service patients quickly, creating patient accounts within 90 seconds.
• Obtain demographics, guarantor, and insurance information for correct records.
• Place patient identification armbands to ensure safety and tracking.
• Verify insurance eligibility/benefits and document in the system.
• Collect co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles, and deposits at discharge; assist with duties as needed.
