Job summary

Hunterdon Health is seeking a full-time Nursing Leader to assist the ED director in managing daily operations at the Flemington, NJ campus.

This Day shift (10-6) with occasional evenings or nights offers a sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package, with required NJ RN license and Bachelors in Nursing.

Minimum ED experience 2–3 years and leadership exposure; Master’s degree preferred; CPR, ACLS, PALS and IV certification required; CEN preferred within 3–5 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 2–3 years ED experience required.
• Current NJ RN license plus CPR, ACLS, PALS, IV certification.
• Leadership experience preferred (2–3 years).
• CEN certification preferred within 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and operations in the Emergency Department.
• Support the director in daily operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (JCAHO/EMTALA/DOH/OSHA).
• Engage in community outreach and collaboration.
• Foster shared governance and quality improvement.
