Job summary

Hunterdon Health Emergency Department in Flemington, NJ is seeking a full-time RN to support patient flow, supervision, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. You will assign nursing tasks, expedite tests, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a NJ RN license, 3 years of acute care experience, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS (CPI and stroke training 8 hours/yr). ACLS/PALS needed within 6 months of hire. Competitive hourly range offered. Evenings and weekends rotation.

Qualifications

• 3 years acute care nursing experience.
• RN licensure in New Jersey (active).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, stroke training 8 hours/year.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assumes clinical oversight for a shift to facilitate patient throughput.
• Makes patient/nurse assignments based on acuity and experience.
• Collaborates with Administrative Nursing Supervisor and teams to expedite flow.
• Support staff, participate in evaluation and education, model best practices.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, TJC, and hospital policies.
