Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT seeks a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to influence learner growth and competency within the ED. You will support NPD practice per ANA standards and collaborate with ED leadership to promote clinical excellence across Hartford HealthCare.

The role requires a CT RN license, BLS, and 3+ years in acute care with teaching or development experience preferred, with Master’s study ongoing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; enrolled in a Master's program with degree completion within two years of hire date.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience. One year of teaching or nursing professional development experience preferred.
• Current Connecticut nursing license; BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Support learners within Nursing Professional Development standards and practice.
• Collaborate with Emergency Department nursing leadership to foster competency management and onboarding.
• Promote professional role development and education initiatives across Hartford HealthCare.
