Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to influence learning and professional growth across the organization. This RN role collaborates with Emergency Department nursing leadership to align competency management, education, and onboarding with ANA standards and system-wide goals.

Ideal candidates bring a CT nursing license and 3+ years in acute care, plus teaching or professional development experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; at least one degree must be in Nursing.
• Current Connecticut nursing license; BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience; teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in nursing professional development or specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support learners within the Nursing Professional Development framework.
• Collaborate with Emergency Department leadership to foster competency management.
• Lead onboarding and orientation of Hartford HealthCare colleagues.
• Promote practice excellence and standardization across the system.
