Job summary
Hartford Hospital is seeking an experienced NPD Practitioner to influence learner growth and professional development. The RN will support competency management, onboarding, and education within the Emergency Department and across Hartford HealthCare.
The role emphasizes practice standards and multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s in progress) in nursing, CT licensure, and 3+ years of acute care experience, with teaching experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; enrolled in a Master's program with degree completion within two years; one degree must be in Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience; one year teaching or nursing professional development preferred.
- Current Connecticut nursing license; BLS required.
Responsibilities
- Support learners within Nursing Professional Development practice framework.
- Partner with Emergency Department leadership to foster competency management and onboarding.
- Promote professional role development and education across the unit and system.
