Qualifications

• Experience in nursing leadership and ED operations is essential.
• Licensure/certifications listed (RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS) are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour accountability for operational management of the Emergency Department.
• Supervise and support nursing staff to meet patient, unit, and hospital needs.
• Assist Director with performance improvement initiatives and data collection.
• Monitor supply use, staffing, and equipment; provide information/recommendations to the Director.
• Ensure continuity of nursing leadership in the Director's absence and maintain a professional environment.
