Job summary

Hoboken University Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the Emergency Department's operational management on a 24-hour basis. You will supervise the nursing staff and assist the Director with performance improvement initiatives and data collection.

Responsibilities include aligning staffing with patient volume and budget, providing clinical leadership, and counseling staff. You will support leadership during Director's absence and promote a high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Valid NJ RN license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of the Emergency Department on a 24-hour basis.
• Supervise nursing staff and support staffing plans.
• Assist the Director with performance improvement initiatives and data collection.
• Monitor supply use, personnel allotment and equipment; provide recommendations.
